Since my last post, I received a Subpoena to testify as a witness for the City of Kennewick against Sheri Miller for violating my restraining order. Scheduled trial dates were November 13 and 16, 2015.

Cut the crap!

Today, November 12, I was called by the City Attorney's office.   They informed me that I do not need to be in court tomorrow because Satan's attorney filed a motion to dismiss.  The court granted the motion saying that since Satan didn't stop or take photos while walking past my driveway, it was not surveillance.  

The judge, being the very same judge who granted my restraining order, was familiar with Sheri Miller's antics and long list of frivolous calls to police, code enforcement, county health, and other "authorities".  According to the City Attorney, the judge warned Sheri to not walk past my house again and that her next stroll past my home would be a violation of the restraining order. 

I'm satisfied.  

Satan may be starting to understand that she can end up in jail if she continues her terror tactics against the neighborhood.  There's no doubt she has learned that it doesn't pay to defy the court order.  The more expensive her lawyer was, the better that lesson will stick with her...  

Hopefully the warning she got in court this morning soured her taste for harassing me.

Victim Impact Statement

Don't Poke The Bear.

I probably shouldn't go into much detail but will say that the city has asked me to submit a 'victim impact statement' in reference to "Old Stinkeye" violating my protection order. The Pre-Trial Hearing is in a few days.

If she would just mind her own business, none of this legal wrangling would be necessary.  Of course, she cannot help herself and has been taking pictures of her neighbors, hoping to incriminate them, as recently as this week.

Face-Off

Yesterday was the scheduled irrigation day for my neighbor and I am the one responsible for irrigating their pasture.  I proceeded spreading water as always and according to the rationing schedule.  On one of my trips to move the irrigation line, as I stepped toward the field gate, there stood the devil,,,

Sheri Miller was standing near the fence, hands on her hips and facing my way, as if she hoped to intimidate me away from my responsibility.  Hoping to avoid the great ugliness of her hate for neighbors, I stopped to pull weeds.  After delivering the pulled weeds to our miniature donkeys, I went back toward the gate and "there stood the devil" scowling and frozen in her stance.

I am amazed and how very long a mentally disturbed person can strike an aggressive pose!

After spending some time in my work-shop, I noticed she had either grown bored or declared a victory.  With 25 minutes of watering schedule left, I went and took care of the chore.

No matter what her intent may seem to you, my experience has been that Ms Miller {satan} is always looking for an excuse to report her neighbors to some authority.  She may have even reported me for watering in one spot for more than 30 minutes.  I may never know.

So far today, her irrigation has been running for 1 1/2 hours which is 3 times what Kennewick Irrigation District allows during this drought.  What an ass!

Sounds of Sunday Morning.

The mild morning temperatures have made early morning down right pleasant on our back patio.  It's quiet back there.  So quiet that I can hear the irrigation running over at Sheri Miller's house.

Ms. Miller claims to be a 'good Christian' and to prove it she reports each and every code violation and infraction she finds (by spying on neighbors) to the appropriate authorities.  Very Christian?  Very un-neighborly!

This Sunday morning, at about 8:00 a.m., I noticed the irrigation was running in 'her' backyard.  She has every right to run irrigation for 30 minutes on the twice per week schedule declared by our Kennewick Irrigation District.  To vary from the schedule would, according to her past actions, be un-Christian and warrant discipline from KID by written warning.

Why then was her irrigation still running after 2 hours at 10:00 a.m.?
Again?  Yes, this is her habit of late.  Run the irrigation for 4 times as long as you would allow your neighbor to run their irrigation.  

Sinner, sinner, chicken dinner.

In my opinion, Sheri Miller just broke the restraining order by walking by my house and watching me.  She didn't break the 100 foot limit but she was doing her best to see what I was working on (surveillance).

There is no need for this woman to walk in front of my house.  There is no reason for her to be watching my work area every step of the way.  She is up to her old practice of policing her neighbors.

I have sent the following email to the Kennewick Police Department.

I feel it necessary to report that I believe my Order for Protection Harassment No. AHY15-016 against Sheri Miller was violated today, Wednesday, 15 July 2015, shortly after 2:00 p.m.   

The order restrains Ms. Miller from 'making any attempts to keep under surveillance petitioner {me}' at either home or work. Only a few minutes ago, Sheri Miller walked in front of, and past, my house (on my side of the street); all the while looking at me in my back drive way.  Not a casual glance but rather her watching me every step along the way which is in part the behavior for which I sought this restraining order in the first place.  

Perhaps she needs to be reminded that violating this order could result in criminal charges? 

She is at it again,,,

Sheri Miller (aka Satan) just cannot keep her nose out of her neighbor's business.  It appears that her daily goal is to harm anyone with whom she comes into contact.  Naturally, she does this in the name of being a "good Christian"...  Even on Sunday.

Today Satan discovered that a neighbor was running irrigation water onto their pasture on a water rationing day.  Of course that is wrong but it's not a crime and has no affect what so ever on Satan or her water supply.  But, being the very bad neighbor she has proven to be, Satan reported the "infraction" to the Kennewick Irrigation District and led the KID 'agent' to the scene of the crime.

This was a very minor infraction and was treated as such by the guy from KID.  The only result is that Sheri Miller wasted other peoples' time by spewing her hatred for her neighbors.  Each and every one of them is a target of her aggression.  She is our Neighborhood Terrorist and no action by her has ever remotely resembled that of a "good Christian" .

While I doubt she has broken any of the restraining orders held against her, she bends them every chance she finds.

May you have a better neighbor than she has been...

Quietness.

Good fences block bad neighbors.

For those of us who have a restraining order holding Satan at a distance, our neighborhood has been free from visits by the police, irrigation department, code enforcement, animal control, child welfare, or department of health.  Others are not enjoying quite as much 'quietness' but are working toward their own, more permanent, solution.

Including myself, 3 of Sheri's victims have installed at least partial privacy fences.  More are planned.  She is slowly causing herself to be boxed in and isolated from all who live near her.  (we are victims so I refrained from using the word 'neighbor')

Happily, threat of handcuffs and jail time has improved our quality of life :) 

Always after someone :(

For as long as Americans have had cars, Dads have repaired their car on the weekend.  It's a respected American Tradition that goes back to the time of our Great Grandfathers!

Why then does having the hood of an automobile open generate such intense anger in Sheri Miller?  She just cannot stand to see a man working on a car!!!  We've all seen her taking pictures of her neighbor changing the oil in his driveway.  Another neighbor was photographed when he helped a friend with their car.  I wouldn't be surprised to learn she had photos of me under the hood of my truck.  What has broken in this woman's mind to make her think it is her job to police her neighbors and report their activities to the city of Kennewick?

This past Sunday, Sheri marched (always boldly) across the street to use her "Stinkeye" on the neighbor as he worked in his driveway. She does this often.  Some times she threatens the neighbor saying, "You'd better have a license to work on cars!"  More often than not, she takes pictures and sends them to Kennewick Code Enforcement.  The city sends an employee to investigate, no violation is found, tax dollars are wasted.

What a terribly hateful piece of humanity she has become :(  We all need to be rescued from Old Stinkeye.

Testing Limits

Remember teaching that new puppy to stay out of your kitchen?  At first they just didn't under stand,,,  Then after you chased them out a few times, the puppy figured out that they shouldn't go into the kitchen while you were in there.  "Not enough room in this kitchen for both of us!"

That worked until the pooch chewed the rubber door gasket out of your $1600 refrigerator that you bought after saving the egg money for 2 years.  So you had to go "Dog Whisperer" on them and use the positive and negative reinforcement system.  It looked promising :)

Just when you thought you had succeeded, you notice your puppy putting one paw across the line between the living room and the kitchen.  "Pooch" is testing the limits of your resolve to keep them out of the kitchen.  How serious are you?  It's hard not to laugh even when you know that for the good of your relationships, they must be chased away.  With a broom.  While growling and stomping at them.  LOL

We appear to be reaching that moment with Stinkeye.  She's been told by the judge to stop making frivolous calls against her neighbors.  She is restrained from contacting us, coming on to our property, photographing us or coming to our work place.  Has to stay 100 feet away from me at all times too.

The only exception to this is when she needs to access the irrigation box on property owned by a neighbor we share.  In February of 2013 I told Ms. Miller {stinkeye} that I was leasing the property and she would need to use the "big gate" {which is about 10 feet wide} to access the irrigation box.

During our anti-harassment suit, the judge told her she would have to use the "big gate" just like everyone else.  At the same time, the property owner and I each said that she was welcome to use the same gate all of us use.  But she wants Me to put in a special gate for Her at my Expense using my Labor.  {slavery}  That's not happening.

Today irrigation water reached the irrigation box and apparently caused some kind of problem for Stinkeye. So much of a problem that she called Kennewick Police Department to escort her into the field and turn off the valve supplying water to her property.  Lessor, property owner, and Judge all gave her permission to go there but she opted to call the cops?  Just like Pooch, Stinkeye is testing the limits.  Just like Pooch, it's going to get her into trouble.

How do I know she is testing us?  Because last month, we received a letter from her lawyer stating that she had gone to the expense of putting a valve on her side of the field fence.  If that was true, couldn't she use that valve to remedy any flooding???  Has she forgotten about the valve?  Was she less than truthful with her lawyer?  Or is she blatantly testing the limits of a court order and the Kennewick Police Department?  Does she want to see if we went through all that time, stress and expense because we meant it when we asked the court to protect us from her harassment?  Does she want to test the Judge who signed her anti-harassment order?

After Effects?

So...  While some things are much more relaxed in our neighborhood, there are lingering after effects.  The affects of years of surveillance, harassment, bullying and haunting are not cured with a piece of paper signed by a judge.  

I now feel better about going into the pasture to take care of noxious weeds knowing that if 'she' harasses me there, it's a violation of the anti-harassment order.  I do my work when I want to without worrying about her calling the cops again and again.  However, I am still held back by a symptom some might call "harassment PTSD."

If I happen to see 'her' driving away, I now see this as an opportunity to walk to the mailbox un-harassed.  Otherwise, the mail might sit there for hours longer. :(

When I work in my wood carving studio, I still keep one eye on the gate to avoid being shot or assaulted by the very angry (and even more insane) Ms Miller...  I now believe myself to be in even greater danger than before!  And I don't like being out there without my dogs to alert me to visitors.

I have even felt concern over walking down the street to the neighbor's house since this has been one of her favorite opportunities to harass me.

When does it end?

We won this round.

The court has ordered me to not gloat on Facebook about my victory in court today.  I was also ordered to remove all Facebook posts directly relating to Ms. Miller.   Those posts have been removed  and nothing further will be added.

We were successful in getting the judge to sign what I will call a "Cesar Millan" anti-harassment order.  That means "no touch, no talk, no eye contact."  The order also prohibits the Respondent from taking pictures of us or of our property.

While we were successful today, I do not recommend resorting to using our court system until you feel there is no other option.  Preparing for and going to court is STRESSFUL.  It can also be expensive.  In our case there was no chance of of reasoning our way to a resolution.

What does this all mean?  Well, a restraining order is just a piece of paper.  However, violating a restraining order is 'contempt of court' and can result in criminal charges.  Stay tuned for that :(

What next?  Well, I suspect our success will inspire other harassed neighbors to file for their own anti-harassment order.  Time will tell,,,

The Chronicles of Stinkeye

"Never give up. Never back down. Never learn a damn thing."
This appears to be the mantra of our neighborhood terrorist (Sheri Miller).

On Friday (20 March 2015) 'she' was served with papers from 3 people asking for restraining / anti-harassment orders and must appear in court on Tuesday of next week (31 March).   After being served and given a dated to defend yourself against harassment accusations in court, 'would you':
A. Cease harassing your neighbors until after the court ruling?
B. Reduce your level of harassing behavior? or
C. Increase  your harassing behavior?
hint - A and B are good choices.  C is a bad choice

Today, 5 days before she will face us in court, Stinkeye could not resist surveilling me. (Yes, that is a real word.)  I was standing at the end of my driveway talking to a gentleman who is too handicapped to get out of his vehicle.  Then I noticed 'her' standing at the corner of her yard, using her phone to either photograph us or record video of us.  Seriously!  What kind of logic is she using???

In response, I turned toward her and called out, "'See you in court."  She walked away,,, probably to watch us from behind her window curtains :(

Bear in mind that this is the woman who displays the Ten Commandments in front of her house and shoots her mouth off about being a Christian.  She also photographs the neighbor's children, has set up a game camera to take pictures of the neighbor's back yard (it's in a city police report), and makes more than 60 phone calls per year to report her neighbors to city code enforcement and the police.

Tying a knot

When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot.

Metaphorically that is precisely what we did today when we filed to get a protection order to stop the harassment by our neighborhood terrorist.  The temporary order was granted and we have a couple of weeks before our court date.  I will not be surprised if the temporary order is violated quite soon :(

I'm telling you, I believe Sheri Miller will turn violent on her neighbors one day!

No limits for the Godless.

Do we all have limits or are there some who are so antisocial and lacking of conscience that they can enjoy harming virtually anyone?  It's bad enough to make a hobby of harming your neighbors but to be so self-important that even the elderly and disabled are not off limits is unimaginable.  Unless you are Sheri Miller.  She has no such limits. :(

Imagine yourself living next to an elderly couple, who have always been good neighbors, and now have challenges.  The man has had multiple strokes and is no longer able to speak or walk.  His wife now does her own "chores" plus cares for him.  She also tries to do some of those "chores" that her husband used to take care of.  They're doing OK but life isn't as easy as it might otherwise have been.

So, when this neighbor finds a little precious time to trim the bushes in her yard, would you offer to help her or would you harass her?  Unless you are a sociopath, you should be offended at the idea of harassing a struggling neighbor.

Help is not what Sheri Miller had in mind.  Help is not something she gives.  She only takes it.

Like a true predator, she saw a weakened prey.  Just as a cat plays with a mouse, she came and hovered at the edge of our neighbor's property. (Sheri is not really a neighbor to those she lives near)  Why hover?  To photograph and harass the busy neighbor!  These photographs, like so many others she has taken, will soon reach the desk of a city code enforcement officer who will undoubtedly be confused by a complaint of someone doing yard work.

Goodbye Little Lamb

Satan (our neighborhood terrorist) has been relentlessly reporting any and every neighbor who violates Kennewick municipal code by having too many animals.  We're allowed 2 farm animals like sheep or donkeys, 3 chickens/cats/dogs/etc and can have a total of 6 animals.  But we cannot have, for example, 4 dogs.

A nearby neighbor's sheep recently gave birth to a new lamb (a third ungulate) and before it could be weaned, code enforcement was parked in front of their home.  How could that have happened? /sarcasm


Imagine my surprise when I saw that Satan (Sheri Miller) now has 4 dogs rather than the 2 dogs she hasn't been able to keep in her own yard.  This is the 'woman' who only last year reported 4 different neighbors for exceeding the municipal code limits for domestic animals!  Does she see herself as unanswerable?  Do these rules not apply to her when they apply to those living on each side of her home?

When Sheri Miller stands before he maker, and her terrible treatment of those who live near her and have aided her when she needed help is revealed, she will doubtlessly be turned away.  She insults all Christians by claiming to be one of them.

Next day, same terrorist.

Soon I will know every police officer working for Kennewick.

The officer arriving today said that "Stink-Eye" now claims the chainsaw noise is so loud that it bothers her inside of her home.  No action was taken other than me telling the officer about "Stink-Eye" sneaking around to spy on the neighbor's children and trying to lure them into her house on their way home from school.  And her 60 calls to the city in 12 months to report code violations by her neighbors.

She's full blown bonkers, I tell you!  The men with the straight jackets should be hauling her away.

After each episode (today and yesterday) I sent a text message to her son.  She usually calms down when he phones her but NOW she refuses to pickup when he calls.

60 degrees of Evil

You might be asking yourself, "What is it like to live near the neighborhood terrorist?"

I am happy, and well qualified, to answer that,,, It depends on the weather.  Yes, the weather.

When the weather is damp  and dreary, living near the neighborhood terrorist is like being in a spy novel.  Every move you make is watched from behind curtains hanging in darkened windows.  And eventually either the police, city code enforcement or some other authority figure will hear of your exploits.

When the weather is freezing cold and the windows frost over, the terrorist can only see you from the window of her jalopy as she cruises past giving you her patented "stink-eye" grimace.  She'd probably come out on foot if there was anyone around on whom she could rely to dial 911 if she slipped on the ice and broke her hip.  But I don't think anyone here is willing to risk her wrath in case she didn't approve of emergency services.

And now comes Spring Time :)  The instant temperatures started soaring toward 60 degrees, our neighborhood terrorist started slinking around taking pictures of everyone doing any sort of work.  I suspect she has jumbo prints of me, sitting all manly on my tractor with a sycamore log dangling from a chain, hanging on her bedroom wall.  Of course, my portrait would be flanked on either side by each of the 2 shade-tree mechanics who have changed their own oil in their driveway.  Muscles bulging as they pull on the oil filter wrench!

Spring also brings out the pedophile if the terrorist.  Only just today I observed (from a safe distance) as she sneaked around to position herself to watch the neighbor's children playing in their pasture.  It was disturbing!

And Summer,,, Dear God Save Me :(
Summer is when "Ol' StinkEye" gets really, really  bold and confrontational.  She drags her chaise lounge over to the fence and sits on it while watching me work in my yard.  I'm impressed at how long she can sit there staring through the fence at me!  Am I supposed to proposition her?  What on earth is on her little mind?  Or is she really staring at our Jack donkey showing off his love package???

Perhaps I should invest in some yard art to entertain her?

Stink Eye

Yesterday Sheri stood in her back yard like a statue staring at me while I worked in my own yard.  She purses her lips when she does this.  Apparently she thinks giving neighbors the "stink eye" is how one keeps the Second Commandment which is listed on the replica stone tablets in her front flower bed.

Now a neighbor has informed me that last weekend Sheri (satan) walked down to my house to take photos of me unloading my log trailer.  Perhaps she thinks I should leave it loaded?

Sheri Miller is possibly the Least Christian woman I have ever encountered in spite of her insistence she is "very christian."
